A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for ‘Stronger Together’ for a beautiful afternoon in the Quad.
From meaningful conversations to dancing, singing, playing, creating art, and sharing delicious food—your presence made it truly special. Uncle Gilbert reminded us of our deep connection to jagun (land), and we even practiced some Bundjalung words, including bugelbah (thank you). With the sun shining down, the day felt like a perfect reflection of our community’s resilience and spirit.
With around 1000 people attending across the afternoon, the Quad was alive with energy and connection. It was the first time this space could host such a large gathering since reopening after the 2022 floods, and it was clear how much we all needed to come together.
A huge thanks to Lismore Quadrangle, Lismore Regional Gallery and Lismore City Council for welcoming us. We also deeply appreciate the support of our sponsors—Southern Cross University, NORCO, Social Futures, Headspace, GIVIT, St Vincent’s Hospital, Simply Clean, Greg Clark Building, Northern Rivers Tiles & Mosaics and Lismore City Bowling Club. A special shoutout to Salvation Army, Lismore City Lions, and Social Futures for providing free food—it was such a treat! Thanks to Red Cross and CASPA for being there to support us all.
A huge thank you to Tapestry Road and Lismore Supper Club Soul Band for their fantastic live performances, along with the wonderful All in a Chord Choir, conducted by Imogen Wolf.
We also appreciate Roundabout Theatre’s Lollipop Ladies for hosting the Play Path, The Chalkies for adding vibrant colour to our day, and The Magic Theatre for giving us the chance to pose on the Moon! Plus, the beautifully decorated flags created for community bunting.
