What a great afternoon we had at our Team Leader Training on November 1st!
Thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Spontaneous Volunteer Program, we’re strengthening our ability to coordinate volunteers quickly and effectively should we experience major floods again.
Building on everything we’ve learned since major floods in 2017 and 2022, our new Team Leaders are learning how to coordinate safe, trauma-informed clean-up efforts, support volunteer crews, and help households recover with care and compassion.
