Last week we celebrated the efforts of the Rotary Club of Goonellabah who raised $500,000 to help people repair their homes. Their contribution has supported essential repairs in 64 homes as part of our Repair to Return Project, 10 of which included significant repairs to bathrooms or kitchens. We were able to facilitate this work with the support of the NSW Reconstruction Authority who have funded Repair to Return.
The Rotary Club of Goonellabah have had a significant impact across our community over many years and we are proud to have partnered with them. We also acknowledge the generosity of the Diocese of Lismore and the Lismore Soup Kitchen for contributing funds to this initiative and for the funding provided to our repair programs since 2022.
