NSW government consultants came to Resilient Lismore yesterday to speak with some ‘spontaneous volunteers’, i.e. the people who turn out to help after a disaster who aren’t formally registered anywhere.
Thanks to those volunteers who gave a few hours of their time to share their experiences, in order to help the government better understand the community response to disasters, and hopefully help us plan and better deal with future events.
