Disaster Ready Together Summit

The Disaster Ready Together Summit will be a quality, practice-focused event held in Lismore, the heart of the Northern Rivers.

It will give people working in community services in Northern NSW a critical and timely opportunity to learn from leading experts in the disaster recovery and resilience sector. Coming together, we will build our regional network and share local, national and international knowledge to help reduce risks in our region when disasters strike.

The program features a number of streams, enabling participants to tailor their Summit experience to their own interests and needs. There will be sessions on building organisational and staff resilience; panels of local service providers working with indigenous communities, older people, early childhood, youth, mental health and people with disabilities; emergency management sessions;  preparedness; the role of NGOs in disaster management and how government and non-government services can work better together.

This is your chance to connect, learn, and shape the future of disaster readiness.
